Probably 3ds Max. It's the most used 3d rendering program.

I've been trying to make my own renders, but until now I've failed miserably :D

But how did he get the car from the game to this program. Is it possible to create a car with this program and integrate it to LFS? I have absolutly no ideas bout rendering ...

No, you can't, because no one knows the format the devs use for the ingame 3d models.

There is a program called LFS viewer, which has the LFS 3d models in CMX format, which can be imported into a 3d rendering software. Don't ask me how though, cause I'm a rendering noob :D
